The Victorian government has announced its decision to extend the On the Road Again Program to fund live music events in the state of Victoria.

Last December, they launched the initiative with a $4 million budget. The state government has pledged to keep the program running for another six months. That means there will be more than 100 gigs across several inner-city suburbs over the next few months.

After two years of lockdown and virtual living-room concerts, Melbourne’s live music scene has begun to make a resounding comeback with over 100 gigs across several inner-city suburbs in the next six months.
